A very quick post today. A bit of a teaser if you will. Not long after visiting Tiritiri Matangi Island we spent several days in the Te Urewera National Park; mostly trying to find and photograph the rare New Zealand Blue Duck or Whio.
I'll expand upon our adventures there further in my next post. However to give you an idea of the sort of country I'm talking about I present this picture of the Hopuruahine Stream located within the national park.
